- Search and indexing services: Document text is processed to generate search indexes for fast retrieval.
- Railway: Cloud hosting provider. All application data is stored on Railway's infrastructure.
- Stripe: Payment processing. Stripe collects and processes payment information directly. We do not store your full payment card details.
4. Third-Party Data Processing
Important: When you use the Service, your documents and their contents are sent to third-party processing services for analysis. This means:
- Document text is transmitted to third-party servers for analysis.
- Third-party processors operate under API terms that prohibit using customer data for training purposes.
- Generated outputs (analyses, summaries, identified patterns) are stored within the Service.
- We do not sell or share your document contents with any party other than the processors necessary to provide the Service.
5. Information About Children
BRAD is designed for adults involved in family law matters. The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We recognize that family law cases inherently involve information about minor children. When you upload documents containing information about your children, that information is processed solely to provide the Service to you, the parent or legal guardian. We apply heightened protection to all data involving minors, including restricted access controls and limited retention.
6. Data Retention
- Active accounts: We retain your data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service.
- After termination: Upon account closure, you have a 30-day window to export your data. After this period, we will delete your data within 90 days, except where retention is required by law.
- Backups: Backup copies may persist for up to 90 additional days before being purged from backup systems.
- Anonymized data: We may retain anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you for analytics purposes.

You have the right to:
